I am damn good at bingeing. You put a pile of sour candy in front of me? Suddenly in the blink of an eye – POOF – it’s gone. Same thing goes for any type of flavoured popcorn, form of peanut butter, box of cereal or perfectly ripe avocados. There one minute (and in its full form), completely consumed and gone the next. The only way I can explain it is that I go into a fugue state of satisfaction where I can’t remember what I’ve done, but I know I have fulfilled some type of craving. Similarly, I’m a master at binge watching T.V. I often find myself with large windows of free time, and while I promise myself I will do something creative or physically beneficial during these moments, I tend to just stream endless episodes of whatever I’m hooked on at that time. I innocently start with the intention to just watch one episode, but next thing I know – the sun has set, I haven’t moved in hours, but the stories of fictional characters are swimming in my mind. I’m a champion at it. So if you’re looking for some time to kill, please, let me help.
Comedy
Broad City
I have a really difficult time picking my favourite hilarious TV show of all time (30 Rock, Arrested Development, they’re just all so funny!!) But this is the most recent hilarious TV show that I binge watched, and then have just continued to watch over and over again. It’s that funny.
Orange Is The New Black
Often OITNB is more of a heartbreaking and touching drama, but most of the time I am chuckling heartily at the expertly timed witty banter. If you have yet to binge watch this glorious series on Netflix, then you are one lucky duck, because what lies ahead is great. Prepare yourself for hours and hours of good television that you simply can’t stop watching (I was up until 2:30am the day I started watching Season 1 – totally worth it).

Drama
Homeland
No show has ever made me yell out loud at my computer screen as much as Homeland has. I am constantly hiding my eyes in fear and screaming out in horror at plot developments (and Rupert Friend’s beauty) while watching. Highly addictive and captivating, and just another piece of evidence to add to the mounting pile that proves Claire Danes is a truly incredible actress.
House of Cards
It took me a little while to catch on to the sheer awesomeness of this Netflix series, but once I did, it was hard to stop watching. Crazy twists, and deeply complex characters make for an incredible show. Be prepared to breeze through all the seasons in record breaking time.

Lindsay
Okay, so maybe it’s awful to find some entertainment while watching someone try to get back on their feet, but really and truly – I was and still am rooting for you Lindsay! This docuseries, brought to you by Oprah, gave you an inside look into Lindsay’s return to society, post-rehab, and post-career imploding. It’s kind of hard to look away.
Made in Chelsea
If you liked reality shows like The Hills, The City, or Laguna Beach, then you’re gonna LOVE Made in Chelsea. It’s basically the exact same premise as those MTV shows – privileged 20-somethings living fabulous drama-filled lives – BUT they’re super posh BRITISH 20-somethings. So not only are the accents wayyyy better, but so is the fashion, the parties, and the sites. They just celebrated their 100th episode, so the binge-worthiness is at quite a high level.
