Excellent T.V. shows are similar to a passing comet. Majestic in their quality, a wonder to behold, and only obliges we earthlings every so-many years. It’s fleeting, but magnificent . While the networks churn out an endless stream of new shows each season, the truly amazing ones are becoming fewer and farther between. And the ones that start out great tend become trite before the season ends. HBO used to be the go-to for top notch shows, but in this new digital frontier, Netflix is the one to beat. Love Letter to Netflix

IMG_2753

It’s official baby. We made it. Still going strong after 4 years. Man, time flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it? BINGE MATERIAL

I am damn good at bingeing. You put a pile of sour candy in front of me? Suddenly in the blink of an eye – POOF – it’s gone. Similarly, I’m a master at binge watching T.V. I often find myself with large windows of free time, and while I promise myself I will do something creative or physically beneficial during these moments, I tend to just stream endless episodes of whatever I’m hooked on at that time. I innocently start with the intention to just watch one episode, but next thing I know – the sun has set, I haven’t moved in hours, but the stories of fictional characters are swimming in my mind. I’m a champion at it. So if you’re looking for some time to kill, please, let me help.

Fantasy Crush League

CRUSHIN_edited-1

I am by no means professing to know a damn thing about football or any sports for that matter, but I have come to understand that people like to partake in ‘Fantasy Leagues‘ when it comes to their favourite recreational activities. I actually don’t really know what this means, but I’m going to assume you get to put together a group of your choosing, picking your favourite athletes to make up this fantasy team. As a non-sportsfan I still want to partake, so I’ve decided to put together a team of my own ‘Fantasy Crush League’ consisting of some scrumptious fictional characters from my favourite tv shows and movies. Enjoy! Continue reading
