The Fall/Winter 2015 Collections seemed to come and go in a flash. In actuality, an entire month and many different cities were involved as the many beautiful offerings for next year’s colder seasons were presented to the masses. Overall, I can say that without a doubt I liked what I saw. I can easily get on board with the trends that seem to be forming for FW 2015 – the goth girl, the boho girl, the sweetly prim girl, and the minimalist fabric-swathed girl – but my favourite look of all was the eccentric girl. Film Guide to Your Hibernation

WINTER MOVIESCongratulations! You’ve almost made it through the bleak month of January. Sure your pores have frozen and your spirit has taken a few hits, but you’re almost in the clear. The January Blues can take strong hold of your psyche, and this cold as a witches teat weather does not offer any extra incentive to get out of bed. It would be best if those of us most afflicted were offered a ‘get out of January free’ card that allowed us the peace of mind to keep cozy under the covers, watch a ton of movies, and just plain hibernate.

Small Spaces: Art Schmart

I like taking every opportunity to infuse my personality into this blog, and revealing some of my quirky insights whenever I can. Today I’m going to talk about my itty bitty, teeny weeny little bedroom.

I’ve lived here for 3 years now, and we’ve all come to the conclusion that this “3rd bedroom” has to have originally been designed as the apartment’s solarium. It’s a lonnnng running joke, “I’ll meet you in the solarium!” “Time for a solarium party!”..things of that nature. And in all seriousness, a solarium party is off the chain. Honestly, I’m quite content with my tiny space and think I’ve done a pretty good job with the space considering its size. There’s pretty much just enough room for a yoga mat, and to kick around need be (a serious requirement I have), but one peak into this room and you know I am the inhabitant. This post is going to focus on what’s hanging on my walls and their stories. Continue reading
